TIP : BTS Yes Odds 2,50
Tottenham couldn’t make their dominance count on Thursday evening as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham, a frustrating match for the hosts who were saved by a world class goal from Son Heung-Min.
This does extend their unbeaten streak to four matches though, and they have won six of their last eight in all competitions. The Premier League top four challenge may be in doubt, but they still have the FA Cup to contend for and their performance in the Champions League group stages will be extremely pleasing.
Spurs are by no means out of the race for the top four though, with just three points between them and Liverpool above them. This leaves Mauricio Pocchettino battling on three fronts, and we could well see a bit of rotation on Sunday.
That will only make things slightly easier for the visiting Wimbledon though. The League One outfit did manage a win to kick off 2018 against Southend, but they have only won three of their last nine matches in all competitions and have lost four of them. Coming up against a Premier League club may well be a spectacle for their travelling fans, but unfortunately for them this is likely to be their only trip to Wembley this season.
The Dons sit all the way down in 21st position in League One, a point off the safe zone but seriously struggling to pick up points. This is especially true away from home, where they have won two, drawn two, and lost five of their last nine competitive games. They have failed to score in five of these matches too, so their chances of getting on the scoresheet are looking slim too.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are unbeaten in eight games at Wembley and have won six of them. They have dropped far too many points at home this season admittedly, but you wouldn’t expect even a heavily rotated team to have many issues against Wimbledon. Tottenham Win and both team to score Yes the best option here, alongside a 3-1 correct score predictions.
